General Disclaimer | You Oughta Know
We’re an experts at what we do. We’ve absorbed a LOT–soaked in experience, education, discovered resources and influence, but most of all, we’ve lived an intense, yet powerful journeys. We’ve got the the experience. The skills. And the qualifications. However, a group nod is in order to the fact that we are not licensed psychologists, health care professionals or attorneys and our services don’t replace the care of psychologists or other healthcare professionals or attorneys (and we don’t endorse one professional’s skill & opinions over another, either). None of of the information you receive from us should be thought of or considered as replacement or comparative direction or advice. (And none of us has played any of those professionals on TV as yet, either.) With that comes the standard cotton-ball to the eyeballs disclaimer that, no, we cannot actually guarantee the outcome of your experience with our materials, events, and/or recommendations on our websites/blogs/email series, and our comments about the outcome are expressions of (our very personal) opinions only. We can guarantee you this, however: We will do our best to help you thrive, and we’ll do everything in the scope of our power and wheel house to help. Last, our advice and opinion is taken into account at your own risk, but for a proper analysis, hire a lawyer/doctor/other licensed professional–preferably one with a bona fide certificate on their wall. Because, you know, we’re all experts about our own lives, but they’re certified.
Affiliate Links Happen
Guess what? If you click on a link that we’ve provided, it might be a link to someone who will give us a commission if you buy something from their site. That means that we might get paid if you click on that link. And the reason we’re telling you this is because we want to be upfront with you, and because it’s illegal not to (So, you know, right side of the law and all.). There are referral pages that do not result in commissions, and links that appear on those pages are preambled with language that is honest–if we say we’re not getting a kickback on your click-through on one of our pages, we’re good for our word. Period.
That said, we promise to use any affiliate commissions earned for good causes: Things like reinvesting in this business to bring you even better resources, and quite possibly to get a quarterly pedicure. Because who doesn’t like having pretty pigs once in awhile?
Product & Offering Descriptions
We love our products, and we hope you do, too. That said, sometimes we might slip up, and sometimes, errors happen. Things like pricing or merchandise descriptions get mixed up, and then we look bad. While that stinks, what’s most important to us is that you’re happy. So while we can’t guarantee that all information on the site is always 100% accurate at any given time, if you do notice a mistake, please don’t hesitate to contact us and let us know. Since we can’t guarantee the products for your particular circumstances or purposes, nor the color, texture, size of anything you might find for sale on our site or offered at live events, we can guarantee that we’ll give you the best customer service we can to remedy the situation. Let’s all just be fair and kind to one another, how about that?
